Wellness Program

The Lotts Creek Wellness Program is a Federally funded three year HRSA grant which operates a  health awareness and outreach program serving Knott and Perry counties in Eastern Kentucky. 

This outreach program will expand the delivery of healthcare services to include new services provided through school based health curriculum, in-home health and nutrition education, monthly hands-on nutrition classes, and referrals to primary health, dental, and mental health services as necessary.

The LCCS Wellness Program can provide the following referral services:

  • Low Cost Medical Visits
  • Low Cost Dental Visits
  • Eye Glass Referrals ($25 for exam and glasses)
  • Free Mental Health Counseling
  • Drug Abuse Rehab

The LCCS Wellness Program also offers a state of the art fitness center free for the community to use. The center is located in the new Cordia High School building on the entrance closest to the baseball field.

The fitness center is open from 5-8 PM Monday through Friday, personal trainer Ryan Holliday available on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The fitness center is completely free of charge as are the trainer services such as personal fitness plans and assisting you in your workout. 

Wellness staff (referrals and such not the fitness center) are in the office from 2-8 on M-F.
